Estimate of time for each type of projects.
CGI Projects are probably the longest way to expect, no one can make something in cgi with extraordinary delicate details in a short period of time. Unless you expect something simple without too accuracy to worry about. Anyway, it take about two months or more, in a balanced CGI project.
Matte paintings could take from a few days to months, depends on how complex they are. The only reason it may takes too long is live action, if you need your matte paintings to be a live it's fairly complex job to do.
And finally sculpting is all about you, the more you want to carve from the mountains of catremania the more time it's gets to be completed, unless you wish a portion of art and details. It takes from weeks to months to finish in the most circumstances. -
